SIP calculator

What a monthly SIP grows to, split into the money you put in and the part that is return. The second panel shows the same SIP at a modest and an optimistic rate, because the honest answer to "what will this be worth" is a range, not a figure. The maths runs in your browser and none of your figures are saved or sent to us.

₹
15 years
12%
A number you choose, not a number anyone can promise. Equity funds in India have historically landed in the low teens over long periods, with years well below and well above that.
Flat SIP
A step-up SIP raised with your salary. Leave it at 0% for a flat SIP.
AFTER 15 years ₹50.46 L Return is 180% on top of what you put in, over 15 years.
You invest ₹18.00 L
Return on it ₹32.46 L
Monthly SIP ₹10,000
IF THE RETURN IS DIFFERENT
A modest year At 8% a year
₹34.83 L
Your assumption At 12% a year
₹50.46 L
An optimistic run At 15% a year
₹67.69 L
Same money, same years. The spread between these is the part a single projection hides.

Reading it honestly

The return is your guess Every SIP calculator asks you to pick a rate and then prints the result as though it were a fact. Two percentage points either way changes a fifteen-year corpus by lakhs, which is why the range panel matters more than the headline figure.
Inflation is not in this number ₹1 crore in twenty years does not buy what ₹1 crore buys now. At 6% inflation it is worth roughly a third as much. The figure is still useful for comparing choices; it is not a picture of future purchasing power.
A step-up beats a bigger start Raising the SIP with your salary usually outperforms straining to invest more on day one, because the increases land while there is still time for them to compound. Try 10% in the step-up slider and compare.
Exit load, expense ratio and tax None of them appear here. Expense ratio quietly reduces the return you actually receive, and gains are taxed on redemption. Treat the result as gross.

This is arithmetic on an assumption you typed, not advice or a forecast. Mutual funds carry market risk; past returns do not predict future ones.

Your actual SIPs already email you every month.
